Talented actor and writer Mohan who worked with national fame Manirathnam team in the past in the script division is now turning his eyes on direction with two scripts ready. For 'Kanmani' in which he plays the mentally retarded role has narrated the script to Suhasini Manirathnam to get her nod for an important role. For 'Kanmani' B.N.Gangadhar is the producer.
For another script Mohan has given final touches 'Krishna Nee Late Agi Baaro' is a hilarious comedy. Both the films are launching in this year says Mohan who is playing the partially blind role in 'Eshtu Nagthi Nagu' that is based on a famous stage play of KBR Drama Company. I am doing a challenging role in this hilarious comedy film. This particular play 'Eshtu Nagthi Nagu' has been staged more than 6000 times in Karnataka informed Mohan.
Asked on the reasons for the failure of 'Lava Kusha' starring Shivarajakumr and Upendra for which he has lent the story he points his fingers to director Om Saiprakash. I am not responsible for it as director Saiprakash says. If that he is the case then why a series of three films of Om Saiprakash ' Hettare Hennane Herabeku, Citizen and Parodi failed asks Mohan.
Not to be seen for one year actor cum writer Mohan was busy with trailblazer V.Ravichandran's 'Manjina Hani' for six months and he prepared two scripts in six months.
