Director Mysskin feels embarrassed by the 'auteur' label given to him following the positive reception of his film Anjathey.

Mysskin is shocked about some film review on 'Anjathey 'addressing him as an 'auteur'. He feels that the title 'auteur' is too big a crown for him to handle for a film like 'Anjathey'.

The word 'auteur', according to him, has only been associated with great directors like Akira Kurasawa, Charlie Chaplin, Federico Fellini, Jean-Luc Godard to name a few. Even great directors like Manirathnam and Kamal Hassan can be called as auteurs.

May be in future he may try to achieve that feat, but Mysskin being referred to as auteur as far as 'Anjathey' is concerned makes him feel embarrassed.

Mysskin also expresses his gratitude to all those who have reposed such a trust on him.
