Campaigning for the Nadigar Sangam elections intensifies as candidates prepare for the upcoming polls on July 30.

With just a week left for elections for the Nadigar sangam, the campaigning has reached a peak.

With Sarath Kumar already elected unopposed as the president of the Sangam, elections would be held on 30 July for the posts of general secretary, treasurer and the committee members.

Veteran actor Radharavi and noted villain Mansoor Ali Khan are pitted against each other for the general secretary post.

Meanwhile, former president Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar have urged members to elect Radharavi, while Mansoor Ali Khan too is leaving no stone unturned to get himself elected.

Stating the polls for Nadigar Sangam has taken political color, Mansoor Ali Khan on Monday urged for the presence of police personnel to ensure a free and fair polls on 30 July.

It may be recalled that elections for Tamil Film Producers Council was held recently.
