'Nadodigal' - film sans heroism

Director Samuthirakani played a villainous role in the film 'Subramaniyapuram' directed by Sasikumar. Samuthiraikani is back to direction and is coming up with a film called 'Nadodigal'.

The film features 4 men and 3 women in lead roles. Interestingly, director Sasikumar plays a very prominent role in the film. Others in the cast include Bharani of 'Kalloori' fame and Vijay (Vasanth & Co owner's son). Music is by Sundar C. babu and cinematography by Kathir.

The crux of the story would be based on the popular Tamil saying, 'Yaadhum Oore, Yaavarum Kaelir' (All the world is for everyone and everyone is a relative). The film is expected to delve deep into emotive relationships without any semblance of heroism. Characters would be portrayed realistically. This is a trend that is welcomed by Tamil audiences of late and this sure is a healthy sign.
