Nani's Nenu Local directed by Cinema Chupista Maava fame Trinadha Rao Nakkina was supposed to hit the screens during Christmas weekend.
Producer Dil Raju decided to push the release date to February so that it will have ample space at the box office.
With so many big films lined up in December and for Sankranthi, it would be pretty hard to get decent number of screens for a medium budget film.
Even if Dil Raju manages to get decent number of screens for Nenu Local, it will have to make way for Sankranthi releases.
Nenu Local will now release in February where there wouldn’t be many big films to deal with. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in this film which has grabbed eyeballs with a striking teaser.
Nani is doing an out and out mass character for the first time in his career.
