Naseeruddin Shah will not be appearing in Reema Kagti's 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.' due to scheduling conflicts. Darshan Jariwala has replaced him in the role of the bus driver.
A few days back we had reported that Naseeruddin Shah plays the role of driver of a bus that carries the 6 honeymooning couples in Reema Kagti's debut film 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.
Well, that's not really the truth though it came close to being one.
On being contacted Reema said, "Yes, Naseeruddin Shah was supposed to play the role of a driver when we had come up with the initial cast and crew for the film. But then there was a genuine clash of dates which Naseer faced and he had to drop out of the project. Instead of him the man who was roped in was Darshan Jariwala who would also be seen in 'Mahatma v/s Gandhi' soon".
For starters, Darshan Jariwala is a veteran theater person who has earlier been seen in films like 'Style' and 'Tathastu'.
