She was last seen in Boss Engira Bhaskaran with Arya and has stayed away from signing Tamil films. However, the actress agreed to don the greasepaint for Rama Rajyam as she got to play Sita Devi in the film with Bala Krishna as Lord Rama.
This film is to be released very soon and plans are afoot to have the film dubbed in Tamil too.
