Student groups in Telangana are threatening to ban Jr. NTR's films following his father Nandamuri Harikrishna's resignation over the Samaikyandhra issue.

OU JAC members reportedly alleged to stop the screening of Jr. NTR films in Telangana, supposing the resignation of his father Nandamuri Harikrishna.

It is known that Harikrishna has submitted his resignation for his post as a Rajyasabha MP in support of Samaikyandhra agitation, which got approved today. And reasoning this OU JAC says, “We condemn Harikrishna’s resignation in support of protests over Samaikhyandhra. And we will not allow the screening of Jr NTR’s films in the Telangana region”, said members of the OU JAC.

Earlier, films namely Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi and Ram Charan’s Yevadu have postponed release dates due to this agitation and now we have to wait a little to know if NTR’s upcoming films will also join the rein.

Meanwhile, NTR-Harish Shankar’s Ramayya Vasthavayya is in last leg of shooting and gearing up for September release.
