This is the second consecutive week three Kannada films are releasing. Last week three films 'Chickmagalura Chickmallige, Mandakini and Baa Bega Chandamama' got released and none of them is promising in the box office. 'Chickmagalura Chickamallige' received rave reviews for the cinematography, contents and songs. The workaholic nature of director Chennagangappa has gathered some appreciation.
Coming Friday 17th of October three more Kannada films are lined up for release ' 'Sangathi' in the lead Chetan son of producer Byre Gowda is making debut for the debut direction of Srinivas Raju is hitting the screen after a brief stay in the cans. Aishwarya Ajith, Pratiksha Shetty, Girish Karnad, Vinayaprakash, Kishori Ballal, Satyaprakash are in the supporting cast. Dathu is the cameraman and BL Venu the veteran has penned the dialogues. National acclaimed music director Hamsalekha has scored the lovely tunes. Suresh Urs edited the film.
'Premigaagi Naa' the 100th musical score of music director Rajesh Ramanath is a musical film from director Snehapriya. S.Janaki, SPB, Shreya Goshal, Udit Narayan and the top singer KJ Yesudas have lent voice for the songs. Three Star Creations produced by D.Jayashanker has AC Mahender cinematography. Shanker, Vandana, Dwarakish, Sumithra, Umashri, Abhinaya, Nagashekar, Biradar, Appu Venkatesh are in the cast of 'Premigaagi Naa'.
'Payana' by director Kiran Govi is the debut of big fame small screen actor Ravishanker. Ramanithu Chaudhary, Sharat Babu, Chitra Shenoy are also in the film 'Payana' that is produced by C.Venkatesh in Smitha Enterprises. Gnanamurthy is the cameraman while V.Harikrishna is the music director.
