Director Velu Prabhakaran and lyricist Snehan are collaborating on a new fictional film titled Naveena Periyar, exploring the leader's principles.
After the bio-pic on rationalist leader 'Periyar' by director Gnanarajasekaran which featured Sathyaraj in the lead role, acclaimed cinematographer and director Velu Prabhakaran and lyricist Snehan are coming together to produce a movie on Periyar again.
The rumors are that the movie titled 'Naveena Periyar' (Modern Periyar) is about the principles and thoughts of the great leader. It is reported that it is fictional and would feature the ills prevailing in today's society.
