After facing career setbacks, Padmapriya has landed a role in the Hindi film Striker, where she will star alongside Siddharth.
Though Padmapriya suffered a setback in her career with Kirat replacing her in Arjun starrer 'Durai', she has moved ahead a few steps with an offer to act in a Hindi film. The movie, titles 'Striker' will have Siddharth in the lead and Padmapriya would play his pair in the movie.
It is said that Padmapriya, playing the role of a bar dancer, will be seen in very glamourous outfits and. When queried about the glamour, the girl from Kerala says that she is not averse to glamour. 'it is just that no one has asked me to act so', says the beautiful lass.
Ironically, according to the grapevine, Padmapriya was removed from 'Durai' because director A. Venkatesh felt that she is not hot enough to suit the role in his masala flick.
