Listen to Sivakumar's Poetic Elucidation
Public Relations Council of India had organized a literary meeting on the legendary poet Kamban on the 29th of May and actor Sivakumar literally stole the show.
Sivakumar's elucidation on Kamban's poetry for 40 minutes cast a spell on all those present. The gathering was engulfed with awe and admiration as the veteran actor went on to recite and explain the poetic works of Kamban.
The program named 'Kamban 50' was on fifty of the poet's works. Learned scholars were of the view that they had a feeling as though they were taken on a journey that gave them the privilege of meeting Rama, Laksmana, Seetha and Dhasaratha.
