Pasupathy as 'Vedigundu Murugesan'

Pasupathy has signed three movies after a gap of more than a year. The latest one in the list is 'Vedigundu Murugesan'. The movie, directed by Moorthy, was launched at Vinayakar temple in AVM Studios, Chennai on January 20.

The director clarifies that the movie has nothing to do with violence though it has 'Vedigundu' (bomb) in the title. The movie is said to be a comedy fare. Jyothirmayee pairs with Pasupathy.

Pasupathy also acts in Rajinikanth's 'Kuselan' as the friend of super star. It is believed that Simran, the former queen of Kollywood would pair with him. He is also acting with Cheran in 'Raman Theduya Seethai'. All the three characters are strong enough to cater his hunger to do different and meaty roles.

Director Moorthy informed that the shooting for 'Vedigundu Murugesan' would commence shortly in his native place Rajapalayam.
