'Puli' a movie made on a whooping budget of 35 crores, starring Pawan Kalyan as the lead, is directed by S.J. Surya. The high budget movie is produced by Singanamala Ramesh Babu under the banner 'Kanaka Ratna Movies'.
Puli's director S.J. Surya had previously directed pawan's block buster 'Khushi' and is expected to restate the success. The lead female casts are shared by Nikisha Patel and Pravathi Melton, with Jyoti Krishna of 'Laila Majnu' fame making an appearance in an item number. Sources say that the photographer alone had been hired at a package of 10 crores to for this movie. This news captivates interest as this will be the first telugu project ever paying such a high remuneration to a photographer. The music is set to tune by veteran music director A.R. Rahman for this pricey movie, has been offered a 2.2 crores from a leading audio company.
