Acclaimed cinematographer and director Rajeev Menon is set to direct a Hindi film starring Abhishek Bachchan, reportedly a remake of the classic 'Abhimaan'. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are also rumored to have guest roles.
Rajeev Menon, who was basically an ad film maker, is one of the senior ace cinematographers in Indian Cinema. He has also directed the films 'Minsara Kanavu' and 'Kandukondaen Kandukondaen'.
Recent buzzes say that he would soon start a Hindi film with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role.
Sources reveal that the movie is a remake of 'Abhimaan', a yesteryear superhit of Amitabh Bachchan. It is said that Rajeev Menon has also asked Amitabh to do a guest role in the film, besides Jaya Bachchan.
