Rajinikanth is set to begin filming for the mega-budget sci-fi epic 2.0, directed by Shankar and co-starring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
Director Shankar's next Magnum opus film 2.0 (Endhiran 2) has just started its shooting in Chennai. As Rajini is yet to complete his part in Ranjith's "Kabali" he is expected to start shooing for 2.0 from next week. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is said to be playing the lead Villain will be joining the sets from march. Actress Amy Jackson will be playing the lead heroine role.2.0 is being produced by Lyca Productions with a mega budget of 350 crore rupees, which makes it the most expensive ever film in Indian cinema history.
