What is further interesting is that the film has been briskly sold in all the areas before the first print and censor certificate to it. That is the caliber of director Ravi Srivatsa who struggled hard in life. His first film 'Deadly Soma' was super hit while his controversial second film 'Ganda Hendathi and a Boy Friend' was an average grosser for producer Shailendra Babu.
Shoba Rajanna who made 'Deadly Soma' is the producer of 'Rajiv Gandhi'.alla. Vijayaraghavendra, Rakshita, Harish Rai, Nagashekar and Vijay are the five in the action and sentiment part. For the first time in the career Rakshita has participated in action scenes.
Kokila Sadhu has scored the music and Dasari Seenu is the man behind camera.
