Harish Shankar may not have struck the rich 'DJ' chord with his only unconventional flick 'Shock', but the shock is that he is ready to try 'hatke' even after becoming a much sought-after star director. That's true. The director of such formulaic, assumed-to-be safe bet films as 'Gabbar Singh', 'Ramayya Vasthavayya', and 'Subramanyam For Sale' is ready to experiment once again.
This time, however, it's going to be a remake.
The 2013 Bollywood heist crime thriller 'Special 26' is the one. Although Harish will continue to busy himself with 'Duvvada Jagannadham' for a few more months to come, he is said to be simultaneously preparing ground for the remake. The same will be co-produced by him along with a friend, one Krishna.
Just as his debut directorial venture featured Ravi Teja, the same is said to most likely reprise Akshay Kumar's role.
The movie will go to floors next year.
