Ram Gopal Varma is set to produce 'Gayam 2', a sequel to his hit film 'Gayam', with Jagapathi Babu returning. Praveen, a former assistant to Puri Jagannath, will direct the movie.
Distinguished director Ram Gopal Varma earlier made the sensational hit 'Gayam' starring Jagapati Babu and Urmila Mantondkar in the lead roles. The film created a hype and a reputed image for the hero Jagapatibabu.
The latest hit 'Homam' directed by JD Chakravarthy, a former associate and erstwhile pupil of RGV also attained laurels for the actor.
Latest buzz is, RGV is planning to make a sequel for 'Gayam', which is said to be a joint venture of Varma's production house One More Thought and an unnamed corporate firm.
Praveen, who apprenticed under Puri Jagannath is making his directorial debut with this movie. Sources say that the film is going to be launched in the month of November.
