Varalaxmi, daughter of actor, politician Sarath Kumar debuts in filmdom with a film titled Thiru Poda, Thirumathi Podi, Dandanaka Jodi. The film also stars Simbu and is directed by his school time buddy Vignesh Siva.
Sarath Kumar had given the nod to his daughter's foray into films but then his instincts as a protective dad seem to be determining his actions now. He has reportedly told many friends in the industry to keep an eye on his daughter so that she doesn't land herself in trouble. The shooting for the film is taking place entirely in Toronto, Canada.
Varalaxmi was described by her father as an intelligent girl when he announced her entry into films. The intelligent girl that she is, might not need people to keep an eye on her, but then a dad's instincts always comes to the forefront and Sarath Kumar is no different.
Interestingly, it is reported that Simbu is keeping himself busy with his laptop indoors because he does not want to get into any kind of trouble.
The movie is expected to kick start in Toronto on August 15.
