While Karan has denied it, rumors persist that his film is a remake of 'Doosra Aadmi', which starred Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Rakhee. Insiders insist that the role that SRK will essay in the film is based on the one played by Shashi in the original and that he is paired with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
