Singer Shweta Pandit reunites with legendary composer Ilayaraja for the film Neel and Nicky, marking their first collaboration in fifteen years.
Shweta Pandit's career as singer began some 15 years ago, when she first sang a song for 'Anjali' under the direction of maestro Ilayaraja. But she did not get opportunity to work with him again.
Now after such a long gap, she was able to sing songs for 'Neel and Nicky'.
Shweta Pandit says, 'I still remember that I sang a song for the Hindi version of 'Anjali' and I am just four-year-old then. We made several rehearsals for the song. At a time when I am earning name as a singer, I feel that I am lucky to sing in Ilayaraja's music direction for this film.'
