Popular actress Shwetha Menon is reported to be assaulted while she was attending a public function at Kollam. Shwetha was participating in the President's trophy Boat race while the incident happened. Though the actress hasn't yet clearly named who is behind this, all fingers are pointing against a prominent congress leader of the district.
Shwetha says that she was assaulted the entire way while she was moving to the diaz set for the inauguration.The state award winning actress has officially complained to the district collector about the incident. The actress who immediately returned after the start of the race couldn't enjoy the boat race. Kalabhavan Mani was also with the actress, who came to the function as the official guests off the district collector.
