The shooting of ace director Siddique’s directorial venture ‘Bodyguard’ remake that features Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead will commence from April 1 in Chennai.
The only common thing between original Malayalam version and Tamil version is director Siddique and rest of all will change in Tamil version that suits Vijay’s image.
Asin is playing the female lead opposite Vijay in the Tamil and that has Nayantara opposite Dileep in original Malayalam version. Vidyasagar has composed the music for the film and veteran cameraman Ekambaram, who has done Vijay’s ‘Sura’ recently, is also handling the same part in this film. And, ace comedian Vadivelu is doing the comedy track along with Vijay and MS Bhaskar in the movie.
