Dhanush has officially dismissed rumors of a rivalry with Silambarasan, stating that the two actors share a friendly relationship.

For long, due to various reasons, the industry has painted Dhanush and Silambarasan to be big rivals. In fact, reports had made it out as Dhanush and Simbu were daggers drawn at each other.
But today Dhanush cleared the air with dignity and decorum that we have come to associate with him.
Dhanush dismissed as mere cojectures the talk of enemity between him and Simbu. "We are good friends," he pointed out.
