Simran, who is on a campaign trail canvassing votes for AIADMK, yet again proved why she is still sought-after in Tamil Nadu.
Though she bid bye to acting after her marriage a couple of years ago, the actress witnessed unprecedented crowds for her maiden political campaign at RK Nagar in Chennai on Monday.
Taking to the stage along with actresses Vindhya and Kovai Sarala, Simran made a brief speech where in she highlighted the achievements of Jayalalithaa's regime and sought votes for two leaves.
Her speech was received with big round of applause.
