The Tamil movie 'Vanathupoochi' will be specially screened for Bollywood hero Aamir Khan and former Indian President A P J Abdul Kalam soon.
The film directed by C Azhagappan, a former associate of Kamal Haasan, is about generation gap in today's society.
Since Aamir Khan had churned out 'Taare Zameen Par', based on a dyslexic child, Azhagappan has found it appropriate to screen 'Vanathupoochi' for Aamir Khan. Also Kalam's love for children is widely known.
According to the director, 'it is a movie that centers around emotions shared between a young girl and his grandfather. Bala Singh plays the grandfather while Sri Lakshmi is cast as grand daughter.'
'Every child is a creation of God. They bring joy in life. 'Vanathupoochi' is an attempt to understand their emotions and needs'.
Revathy plays a prominent role while eminent artiste Amudha Bharathy is also part of the cast.
Rehan has scored the music for the lyrics penned by Pazhani Bharathy, Pa Vijay, Snehan and Thendral.
