Farhan Akhtar clarifies that Shah Rukh Khan is not playing a Gujarati don in their upcoming film, but rather a gangster in a Gujarat setting.
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has denied reports that Shah Rukh Khan will play a Gujarati don in his next production. He says the superstar essays a gangster instead.
"Don't call him a Gujarati don! He is not playing any Gujarati don. The film is based in Gujarat and his character is based in Gujarat. He is playing a gangster in the film," Farhan said
"The film deals with crime and law," he said.
The film will be directed by Rahul Dholkia.
