Sundar C is a taxi driver now. The director-turned-actor is playing the role of a taxi-driver in his forthcoming film Perumal.
Directed by Vincent Selvah, the movie features Namitha and a newcomer from Mumbai as his heroines. Having chosen to play a taxi-driver, Sundar C had been to Chennai Central Railway station several times to study the mannerisms of the taxi drivers.
P Shanmugham produces Perumal for Srishti Productions. Namitha acts as an antiques dealer and the Mumbai girl acts as a college student.
Vivek, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Payilvaan Ranganathan, Crane Manohar, Thyagu and T P Gajendran are also in the cast. Screenplay and direction is by Vincent Selva.
