Suriya is lending his support to AIDS awareness by starring in a special short film produced by the Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Society.
Suriya is currently acting in a couple of big projects including Vel and Varanam Aayiram.
Suriya, who is the brand ambassador of Tanker Foundation, is acting in a short film on AIDS awareness.
Beside Suriya, Nasser too plays a prominent role in it.
The movie is produced by Tamil Nadu AIDS Control society and would be screened in several theatres which have DTS facilities.
Meanwhile, Suriya has almost completed shooting for his film Vel, directed by Hari. The movie features Asin opposite him.
'The short film on AIDS awareness is my effort towards creating awareness on the deadly HIV virus. I hope it would reach the masses and serve the purpose well', says Suriya.
