Rajinikanth starrer 'Kabali' has set new benchmarks even before the release. How did the project materialize? Who is behind it?
Soundarya Rajinikanth, Superstar's Younger Daughter, knew Director Pa.Ranjith since he began working as Assistant Director. In fact, She was supposed to produce his maiden venture 'Attakathi' but things didn't fell in place.
After Rajinikanth told to her that he liked the Director's last release 'Madras', Soundarya met Ranjith and enquired if he have any subject for her Father. Few days later, He gave a narration to Soundarya by starting with, 'A Malaysian Don…So & So'.
Soundarya liked the storyline and she narrated it to Thalaivar. Then, She informed it actually belongs to Ranjith and that's how 'Kabali' materialized. Today, the response promos have been receiving hints the judgement of Superstar is right.
