Three films for this Friday

The day after the victorious day Vijayadashami the last day of Dasara festivities the Kannada audience would see the release of three Kannada films 'Mandakini', 'Chickamagalura Chickmallige' and 'Baa Bega Chandamana'.

The film 'Mandakini' the first and last of producer BK Srinivas has many highlights tucked in it. The 12 minutes song in the film is one of the highlights. It is shot in maximum districts of Karnataka by director Ramesh Surve who has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. PKH Das is the cameraman. Kalyan is the lyricist and music director of the movie. Rashmi plays the title role with Chetan, Ashwin, Srinath, Jayanthi, Pavitra Lokesh, Shivakumar, Dattanna, Sadashiva Brahmavar, Mimicry Rajagopal, Sangamesh Upase, Suresh Rai plus 20 theatre artists in the film.

The visual treat and music bonanza is 'Chickmagalura Chickmallige' from director K E Chennagangappa. Produced in Kempambika banner the film is shot in some of the exotic locations that is not seen so far on Kannada screen. JG Krishna is the cameraman and Ujjire, Belthangadi, Casanmakki, Ballalarayana Durga, Dharmasthala, Shishira, Chickmagalur, St. Mary Island are the locations the camera has moved. Shravanth, Jagadish, Radhika Gandhi, Anand, CR Simha, Ramakrishna, Avinash, AS Murthy, RG Vijayasarathy are in the cast.

The musical love story by first time director BH Murali 'Baa Bega Chandamama' is releasing after a long stay in the cans. The director has written the story, screenplay and has also done the music direction besides writing a song for the film. Mathew Rajan is the cameraman. Kumaraswamy, Harish and Narasimhaiah are the producers of 'Baa Bega Chandamama'.

Deepak, Suhasini, Avinash, Chitra Shenoy, Jai Jagdish, Vanitha Vasu, Bank Janardhan, Mimicry Dayanand, Apoorva, Prasanna, Madhu Hegde, Bullet Prakash and others are in the cast.
