22-year-old Akhil Akkineni will be engaged to Hyderabad based fashion designer Shriya Bhupal, granddaughter of Business tycoon GVK, on December 9. Both the GVK and Akkineni families are now busy with the preparations.
But latest reports say Nagarjuna has not sent invitations to majority of the Tollywood celebrities for this ceremony. Megastar Chiranjeevi and few other Tollywood personalities are invited. Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna share family friendship.
Although Nagarjuna personally invited Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh's counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu, it is learnt that he has not invited many Tollywood biggies and political leaders.
Sources say he will be throwing huge party in May 2017 for the entire movie industry, media and political world. This engagement ceremony will be restricted to the limited guests - family, friends, and Chief Ministers and Union Ministers.
Though Akhil is getting engaged on 9th December, the wedding ceremony will be taking place in the month of May in Italy.
Hence, Nagarjuna is planning wedding reception in big way in Hyderabad in May.
