Trisha Krishnan will star opposite Venkatesh in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit 'Bodyguard', marking their third collaboration. The actress confirmed her role, with filming set to begin on April 14.
Pretty actress Trisha is all set to pair up with Venkatesh for the third time for the remake of Malayalam super hit film Bodyguard. It was also remade in Tamil version with Vijay and Asin in the leads titled Kaavalan. Nayanatara played the female lead in the Malyalam version while Asin played the Tamil version. Now, Trisha has been zeroed in by the film-makers as the leading lady for the Telugu version.
Confirming the news Trisha said, “Yes, I have signed for Bodyguard remake in Telugu opposite Venkatesh and the shoot will commence from April 14. In the next couple of days I will be watching Bodyguard and Kaavalan on DVD to get the feel of it.”
Gopichand Malineni is directing the movie and Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it.
