Costumes from the film Thananam Thananam were auctioned for charity, raising over 1.6 lakh rupees for the World AIDS Day Fund.
The costumes used by Ramya and Rakshita in 'Thananam Thananam' have been auctioned to donate the proceeds to the World AIDS Day Fund via Radio One by producer N.M.Suresh. Actual worth of costumes Rs.15000 fetched Rs.1.62 lakhs in the auction. One of the tops wore by leading heroine worth Rs.900 has been auctioned for Rs.33000.
