Vadivelu has defended his decision to improvise on set, addressing the controversy surrounding his departure from the film Padikathavan.
Actor Vadivelu has hit out at director Suraj over reports of the comedian pulling out of 'Padikathavan'.
Vadivelu, who was shooting for 'Padikathavan', reportedly walked out of the sets in Hyderabad after a spat with the director.
Says Vadivelu, 'I normally improvise my roles on screen. Having been in the industry for over two decades, I know the tastes and preference of the audience'.
'Unfortunately when I tried to improvise in the sets of 'Padikathavan', I was resisted.'
'I had no troubles acting in 'Marudhamalai' and 'Thalainagram' directed by Suraj before'.
It is reported that Vivek has replaced Vadivelu in the end.
