Venkatesh speaking about his new venture said, 'I saw Dasavataram recenty in Mumbai and was fascinated with the actor's performance. We later met in a restaurant there to discuss about Marmayogi. Kamal explained my character elaborately that prevails in the 7th Century AD. He also inculcated a suggestion for me to come out of the box and see the bigger picture of the celluloid world.'
Marmayogi is a trilingual film that is being directed by Kamal Haasan.
