Director AL Vijay has officially confirmed that Anushka Shetty will star opposite Ajith Kumar in the upcoming film, tentatively titled Thala 55.
It is known to viewers that AL Vijay's Saivam audio was launched on April 5th. Gautham Menon and Anushka also graced the event along with Vijay, Siddharth, Vijay Sethupathi, Lakshmi Rai, Radhika, Varu Sarathkumar, Vishal and others.
Speaking at the audio launch director Vijay congratulated his Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam actress for her next Tamil film in Gautham Menon's direction and pairing opposite Thala Ajith. Though there was buzz making rounds in the tinsel town, Al Vijay is first to officially announce it confirming the reports.
AM Ratnam's Sri Surya Movies will be producing Thala 55 film and filmmaker Gautham Menon is likely to disclose complete cast and crew details of Ajith starrer along with music director sometime soon. Arvind Swamy and Arun Vijay will be playing baddies for Ajith in this movie that will go on floors from 9th of April.
