Vijay is currently filming the dual-role drama Azhagiya Tamil Magan in various locations. The film is expected to hit theaters this Independence Day.
Vijay's Azhagiya Tamil Magan is fast nearing completion. Directed by dialogue writer Bharathan, Azhagiya Tamil Magan, which has Shriya, playing the female lead is being shot extensively in Pollachi, Karaikudi and its adjoining areas.
Recently at Ennore, a stunt sequence was shot by cinematographer Balasubramaniam for the movie which featured Vijay opposite Vijay. He plays a dual role in the movie.
Noted stunt director Fefsi Vijayan was part of the crew. This is perhaps the first film featuring Vijay in dual roles.
With Pokkiri still drawing good crowds in theatres, expectations are raising high on Azhagiya Tamil Magan.
Plans are on to release the film this Independence day
