Superstar Vijay hosted a private screening of his upcoming fantasy drama Puli for his family and close friends before its wide release.

"He watched the film at NFDC's (National Film Development Corporation) preview theatre. His children and wife loved the film and Vijay hopes his fans will like it too," a source from the theatre told.
Directed by Chimbu Deven, "Puli", a big-budget fantasy drama, releases in cinemas on Thursday in Telugu and Hindi as well.
The film also stars Sridevi, Hansika Motwani, Shruti Haasan and Sudeep in important roles.
