Due to Dhoom 2's delayed multiplex release in Delhi, UP, and Haryana, films like Vivah and Apna Sapna Money Money are seeing an unexpected boost in collections from multiplex-going audiences.
Dhoom' 2 hasn't released in multiplexes across Delhi, UP and regions of Haryana and the films that seem to benefit most from the situation are 'Vivah' and 'Apna Sapna Money Money'.
While patrons are still flocking the single screen theatres in these states, there is still a large section of unsatisfied audience that is addicted to watch their movies in multiplexes week after week. And for this section of audience, there is a choice to pick between 'Vivah' and 'ASMM'.
Also notable is the fact that 'Vivah' has maintained terrific collections in the 2nd week and the momentum seems to be in the right direction even in the 3rd week. With not much competition up North at least in the multiplexes, the film is obviously going to benefit a big deal there.
