Actress Kanika ties the knot with Balachandran in a private ceremony and plans to retire from acting to settle abroad.
'Five Star' fame Kanika entered wedlock on Monday in Chennai. She married Balachandran, brother of yesteryear heroine Jayashree.
The wedding was a family affair attended by relatives. Kanika, an alumnus of BITS Pilani, has chosen to bid goodbye to acting after marriage and will settle abroad.
She is currently doing a host of television shows and a Malayalam movie 'Pazhassi Raja' starring Mammootty and Sarath Kumar.
