What do John Abraham and Sylvester Stallone have in common?

For any celebrity in the limelight, a bunch of loyal aides is essential to help them out in their daily whirlwind of activities, both on and off screen. Actors today have every aspect of their lives taken care of — this includes having a chauffeur, stylist, make-up artist, publicist, chef or even, a life coach follow them everyday.

John Abraham, however, seems to believe in the 'small is big' principle. While his co-stars from his upcoming action flick, 'Dishoom', have been traveling with an extensive entourage of over a dozen people, John has been attending events, shoots and tours to promote the film, with just one person in tow — his Man Friday, Venky Reddiar.
The actor has followed this rule since his very first film in Bollywood ('Jism' in 2003). The reason behind this is that the actor doesn't endorse lavish spending. John considers Reddiar a close friend since the two have established a relationship that goes back many years.

Says John, "I have never been the kind to roam with a big entourage. Besides, Venky is a one-man army and looks after everything rather competently."

The only other actor known to follow a similar pattern of working is Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone, who apparently even drives his own car. The living legend is incidentally also John's fitness icon and has inspired him to live a self-sufficient lifestyle.
"Stallone follows a similar way of working and has been my idol in every sense of the word," he adds.
