Director Sachin reflects on the life-changing phone call that led to the creation of his film Ugly Aur Pagli, highlighting memorable moments on set.
It was a phone call which came in one lazy Jakarta afternoon and it said 'Can you come down to Mumbai tomorrow and make a presentation to us?' and that sent my entire life upside down as it was the beginning of a dream. A dream called UGLY AUR PAGLI.
As I recollect about the experiences in making the film, I suddenly just go blank and all I remember are the incredible moments which have gone into chasing this dream. Moments where I laughed when Mallika and Ranvir did a hilarious scene together or I remember the time in Goa when Ranvir, who never enjoys dancing, did the intricately choreographed steps by remaining in the character.
I'm also happy and satisfied when I see the chemistry between the Mallika and Ranvir unfold before me, which is an important element in the film.
It has been a hilarious journey to achieve this dream and I'm eagerly waiting for the audience to laugh and have fun as well.
