The 49-year-old actress told her fans on a micro blogging site that on the sets of the film, once, she actually chased Aamir with a hockey stick as he had played a prank on her. The film, which released on June 22, 1990, was one of the biggest musical blockbusters of that era. Madhuri also won the best actress award for it.
The actress had played Aamir's interest in another film earlier, 'Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin'. Though it had a good opening, it did average business at the box office.
