When Smilie kicked and punched in real life

Every Wednesday, actor Smilie Suri goes to Mahim church, to pray. This Wednesday was still more important because she has been upset with the ill health of her father and had to offer special prayers. But she was in for a surprise.

When she came out of the Church and started looking for her car parked across on the other side of the road, she spotted two boys staring at her but ignored it since this happens many times to known faces. But then she felt somebody touching her from the back. She still gave him benefit of doubt and turned back to look for her car. Then the second man brushed her in the front.

"I was angry and I asked them to come to the police station and they started protesting. Then I removed my shoe to hit him but two elderly women caught my arm and told me to forget about it. When I told them what they had done, they agreed that boys were misbehaving and they too had seen it, but still insisted that I should leave. I was frustrated, yet I started moving towards my car. But on impulse I turned back and saw them smirking and grinning and gesturing. This is when she lost it and went back and started kicking and punching them, but crying all the while".

Once she spotted her car, she ran in and drove away.

"But I felt really good. I am happy I had given it to them otherwise I would have kept feeling dirty all the while," comments this feisty girl.

After a successful Kalyug, Smilie's forthcoming film is directed by N. Chandra. It stars Anupam Kher, Sima Biswas, Sarika, Rajpal Yadav, Parveen Dabbas, Perizaat Zorabian, Rajat Kapur,& Purab Kohli. Smilie is playing the role of a call centre girl in the film.
