Ileana D'Cruz regrets not being able to grab the opportunities she wants after shifting base to Mumbai. 'Barfi' marks her dream debut debut in Bollywood. There after, Films like 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero', 'Main Tra Hero' and 'Happy Ending' have set a good platform for her in the Industry. She, however, lost the track thereafter.
Saying that the long break wasn't a conscious decision taken by her, Ileana said: 'I'm not happy with the offers that's coming my way. its not a wise decision to stay away from the glamour field citing lack of promising subjects. So, I have been signing films even though I wasn't fully satisfied with what was offered. I don't mind looking glamorous in commercial films. Its fun to do that! But, I do feel the need to be part of at least one content-driven film once in a while. 'Rustom' is one such movie. This movie is close to my heart and I enjoyed working for it'.
'Rustom' starring Akshay Kumar and Ileana releases on August 12th this year.
