Yesudas is one person who has traversed boundaries with his music and his crooning of various songs in rustic and urban glory has always left an indelible impression in the listener's hearts. Little wonder then, that his son took up singing and has been proving worthy of his lineage.
Vijay Yesudas, who has sung Ruk Ruk in Friends, Kodi Kodi Minnalgal in Jayam, Dhavani Potta Deepavali in Sandakozhi, among others, has been traveling in the path laid out by his father. It was an occasion to celebrate musically and otherwise, for this young singer got married to Dharshana.
The marriage, which took place in Thiruvananthapuram, was held amidst glitterati from various walks of life. Popular yesteryear music director and the guru of Yesudas, Shri Dakshinamoorthy presided over the marriage. Many State ministers also attended and graced the occasion.
The reception will be held at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall on the 25th of this month.
