His ‘Nagavalli’ is slated for a release on 2nd, December and the new scripts are flowing his way right now. We have earlier informed that Venkatesh will be doing the two flicks simultaneously. The first one under the direction of Teja (Nuvvu Nenu, Nijam fame) is now titled as ‘Savitri’ which is yet another female titled flick after the immediate ‘Nagavalli’. Venky had good success rate with female titled flicks such as ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Lakshmi’. Sources say this might be the second reason behind ‘Savitri’ too while the first reason being script requirement.
‘Savitri’ will be the product of Venky’s home banner ‘Suresh Productions’ while his other film under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas will be produced by DVV Danayya under Universal Media banner. While the latter film might launch in early 2011, Venky, Teja’s film might launch after the immediate release of ‘Nagavalli’. Other details of cast and crew of ‘Savitri’ will be updated soon.
