Zee Telugu is launching Mayavi, the first-ever 3D serial in South Indian television history, starting December 30.
For the first time in the history of south Indian television, Zee Telugu has launched a serial that is being made in the 3D format.
The serial is titled Mayavi. Nearly 40 lakh glasses have been given away to the viewers, to facilitate the viewing of the serial in this format.
The story is similar to Spiderman series, though the protagonist is Vikram. It will be aired for 26 weeks.
Sanjay Reddy (Zee|), Seeta Devi (Zee Telugu), Ravi and Vivekananda (GV Films) were among those present to announce the launch. It will go on air from December 30.
